bestmultiagent respects the intellectual property of others and expects the same of anyone using bestmultiagent.com. This page explains how to report material you believe infringes your copyright.
How do you submit a takedown notice?
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), a notice of claimed infringement must be in writing and include:
- a physical or electronic signature of a person authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (or a representative list if several works are covered);
- identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it, such as the page URL;
- your contact information: name, address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Where should you send it?
Email the notice to editors@bestmultiagent.com with "DMCA notice" in the subject line. Notices missing the required elements may not be acted on. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
How does a counter-notice work?
If material you provided was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which the site operator may be found) and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
What happens after a valid counter-notice?
We forward it to the original complainant. Unless they tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material.
What is the repeat-infringer policy?
Where appropriate, we will remove contributions from, and stop working with, anyone found to be a repeat infringer.
